“Volunteer in a Family”, in collaboration with Home-Start Worldwide, is a project under the Good Parent – Good Start Programme by the Empowering Children Foundation, aimed at supporting parents of children under three. Launched in 2010 in two Warsaw districts, it expanded citywide in 2012 due to growing demand. Volunteers, who have parenting experience, visit families weekly to offer guidance and emotional support, helping parents manage challenges like social isolation and economic difficulties. The project collaborates with professionals like social workers and psychologists.
